The Guitar School

The Guitar School is a music school located in Greenside, Johannesburg. We offer beginner guitar lessons to advanced lessons, for all ages. We teach individual as well as family and groups classes. We offer a variety of styles including rock, jazz, classical, metal and pop.

The school is run by well-known guitar teacher, Michael Kaplan, who will build on his decade of teaching experience to develop a teaching style, approach, pace and syllabus uniquely suited to your requirements. Should you wish to complete formal syllabi, we can confidently prepare and enter you for a number of internationally accredited examinations. Lessons are offered at the The Guitar School's primary facility in Greenside or online, as well as, at several private schools in Johannesburg.
